Festival Highlights

🔹 MYBody: Malaysian Choreographers’ Showcase
Six renowned Malaysian choreographers present brand-new solo works, using the body as a medium to reflect on personal and social issues through diverse artistic perspectives. These six distinct works offer varied perspectives on the body and its role in navigating self, society, and existence through the lens of contemporary Malaysian aesthetics.

🔹 International Gala: Contemporary Duets from Abroad
Featuring acclaimed works from Taiwan, Korea, Hong Kong, and the UK, this special showcase presents five distinct contemporary duets exploring human connection, trust, and existence through the language of movement. Five duets, five distinct physical vocabularies, and five reflections on humanity, relationships, and existence — all inviting audiences to immerse themselves in a world of dance beyond borders.

🔹 Dancing in Place: Site-Specific Dance Project
In collaboration with the dance departments of Universiti Malaya (UM), MARA University of Technology (UiTM), Sultan Idris Education University (UPSI), National Academy of Arts, Culture & Heritage (ASWARA), and Dance Space, this unique initiative invites audiences to step beyond the theatre and experience dance in urban public spaces, reimagining the relationship between movement, space, and spectatorship.

🔹 Masterclasses
Led by this year’s choreographers and artists, the festival offers a range of classes for participants of all levels, covering contemporary and traditional dance, creative exploration, and physical aesthetics.

🔹 《MYBody》本地编舞专场
6位马来西亚知名编舞家呈献全新独舞，透过身体语言回应当下课题，激发共鸣，共同构筑一场充满思想与身体语汇的艺术盛宴。六部作品，六种视角，透过马来西亚身体美学，展开关于自我、社会与存在的深刻叩问。

🔹 《国际汇演》海外双人舞特邀演出
来自台湾、韩国、香港及英国 5 部当代表演作品，风格鲜明，透过舞蹈探索人与人之间的关系与信任。五部双人舞作品，五种身体语言，五段关于人性、关系与存在的叩问，邀你一同沉浸在无国界的舞蹈艺术世界中。

🔹 《Dancing in Place》户外特别企划
携手马来亚大学（UM）、玛拉工艺大学（UiTM）、苏丹依德理斯教育大学（UPSI）、国立艺术文化与遗产学院(ASWARA) 与 Dance Space 舞蹈学院，带领观众走出剧场，在城市空间体验舞蹈与环境互动的全新观演形式。

🔹 舞蹈大师班
邀请本届编舞家与艺术家开设多元课程，适合不同程度舞者参与，涵盖当代、传统舞蹈与创作灵感训练。
