About d'MOTION International Dance Festival 2013
The inaugural d’MOTION International Dance Festival 2013 will make its mark on the Malaysian dance calendar on 11 - 15 December 2013! Co-presented by the Damansara Performing Arts Centre (DPAC) and T.H.E Dance Company, the Festival brings together international and local choreographers, dancers and students in the hope that dance will continue to be a valued and lasting component of the arts in Malaysia. The Festival also offers a supportive atmosphere aimed at fostering a creative exchange of ideas, encouraging exploration of new grounds and providing opportunities to experience a wide spectrum of dance/movement disciplines.
d’MOTION is a series of dance performances and master classes for individuals seeking to immerse themselves in an intensive dance experience. Let’s dance in motion with 6 performances and 9 master classes with International Artists from Denmark, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong/China, Singapore and Malaysia!

Featuring collaborative choreography of Asian artists that is hosted by DPAC in Malaysia and
T.H.E Dance Company/CONTACT Festival in Singapore.
> Programme B - International Programme
Featuring festival highlight performances by International Artists from Asia to Europe.
> Programme C - T.H.E Dance Company Premiere, Mr. Sign
Featuring new full-length work choreographed by T.H.E’s resident choreographer,
Kim Jae Duk from Korea and performed by Singapore’s T.H.E Dance Company.
> Master Classes
Conducted by International Artist from Denmark, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong/China &
Malaysia/Singapore.
