Born in Madrid, Mireia Frutos is currently a freelance musician based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She studied a Master of Music at the Liszt Academy in Budapest, with professors Kemenes András and Szokolay Balázs, and professor Csalog Gábor for chamber music.
She has been awarded with the “Mutua Madrileña FoundaFon” scholarship, the “Musical Youth of Madrid” scholarship and the “Rotary Club” grant for the conFnuaFon of her studies aJer her bachelor degree in Zaragoza (Spain) with professor Miguel Ángel O. Chavaldas.
Besides her academic educaFon, Mireia has aQended many courses and master classes, on her will of looking for new points of view and perspecFves to undertand music and improve on technique, having the privilege to work with such important professors and arFsts like Julian MarFn, Robert McDonald, Marta Gulyás, Jose Ramón Méndez, Dominique Weber, Imre Rohmann, Elisabeth Leonskaja, Blanca Uribe, Karl-Hermann Mongrovius, Andrew Ball, Kennedy More^, Begoña Uriarte, Andras Hamary, Galina Iwanzowa, Josep Colom, Alexander Kandelaki, Claudio Mar`nez Mehner or Kaya Han among others.
