Descriptions
Choi Myung Hyun (Beginner / Intermediate)_13 Dec (Fri) 6.30pm – 8.00pm, 14/12(Sat) 5.30pm-7.00pm
Choi’s technique classes advocate free movement without being restricted to dance technique. Originating from the basis of improvisational movement, participants develop deeper body awareness, sense perception and musicality in relation to the surrounding space. This hones mental concentration, which strengthens the physique and improves movement control.
Kim Boram (Intermediate/Advanced)_12/12(Thu) 6.30pm-8.00pm

This class will focus on movement and musical expression, particularly floor and body control technique.
Kim Jae Duk (All levels)_14/12(Sat) 1.00pm-2.30pm

Dynamic and physical; participants should have strong body awareness and a sense of musicality.
Kitt Johnson (Intermediate / Advanced)_14/12(Sat) 5.30pm-7.00pm

Students will be introduced to the exploration of individual sources of inspiration and the path from idea to materialization. Creativity does not only depend on the magic moments of inspiration. Creativity depends also on a great deal of plain, patient work, necessary for the unfolding of ideas and their realization.
Kuik Swee Boon
(Intermediate/Advanced)_13/12(Fri) 6.30pm-8.00pm
(Beginner/Intermediate)_14/12(Sat) 1.00pm-2.30pm

Artistic Director of T.H.E Dance Company, Kuik Swee Boon, will be imparting T.H.E’s company style and techniques to participants. Emphasis on grounding, breath control and body perception.
Shimada Tadashi
(Beginner/Intermediate)_15/12(Sun) 1.00pm-2.30pm
(Intermediate/Advanced)_15/12(Sun) 5.30pm-7.00pm

Shimada imparts elements of his personal style, which features intricate and purposeful movement. Participants are encouraged to break away from how they are used to moving, in order to rediscover a unique, personal style in the stillness.
Yang Hao (Intermediate/Advanced)_15/12(Sun) 5.30pm-7.00pm

Centred on modern dance technique; from stretching to combinations including weight transfer, jumping, sliding, rolling and etc.
